today was the last day of my treatment. Now I go see a Plastic surgeon and see what they say about doing a flap or if I need another round of treatment.  I guess time will tell.

My birthday went well and Valentines day was nice.

I hope to hear more about my new prosthetic soon and get stuff going with that.

As odd as it seems almost 2 years after all of this I still have days I feel down and lost. Then I get mad because I think after all this time I should be ok and not have down days. So if any of you still feel down, from all I am being told it is ok.

I still have trouble sleeping, even if I take high powered sleeping pills. I don't know why. I sometimes wonder if the reason might not be because I can't find anything to dream of as I fall to sleep. Not like asleep dreaming but you know those thoughts we have before we go to sleep about our hopes and dreams. I don't know for sure, I just know some nights I lay there at 5am and pray to God to just let me fall to sleep.

Hello Everyone, I am doing well. I am working still on getting that last spot of my operation healed. I am now doing Hyperbaric oxygen therapy  five days a week.

I also have made friends with a couple. Her Husband had the operation about 7 years ago. I am enjoying talking to them and we learn from each other.

I am also still working on having a new bucket made and legs so I can stand.

I also Had a producer from London contact me about doing a report.

I have to leave for my treatment but wanted to say hello to everyone. I am gone from 11am to about 6pm each day and then very tired when I get home.

By Darkness Comes Light

In The Darkness she finds herself whole,

In The Darkness she can see all

In The Darkness to her is the brightest light

By Day she finds only fragments of what use to be

By Day she only can see what others see

By Day she can’t truly be free

In The Darkness stirs all those things she use to feel,

In The Darkness she longs for the touch of old

In The Darkness she remembers the feeling

By Day she is numb to herself and feelings of olde

By Day her desire hides out of fear

By Day she tries to forget what is left to feel

In The Darkness she is happy and dreaming

In The Darkness she is able to be weak yet stronger

In The Darkness she is able to pretend and believe

By Day she puts on a face of brave

By Day she shows strength though she is weak.

By Day she pretends to believe

For one like her she awaits the night

For one like her she tries to make the night never end

For one like her she can only truly see in the darkness of the night.

By Day she closes her eyes and silently prays,

"Oh Powers Greater than thee

Bring on the night , I pray

So that I may see"
